What the Panel Said:

Chris Ballard:
In a year that has seen [Dwayne De Rosario play] for 3 different teams, he has stood out, both by scoring himself and by assitsting other players. Why New York shipped him out is beyond me. (-ed note: because they needed Frank Roast, duh)

Abram Chamberlain: Take Donovan or Beckham off of LA it is still a good team. Remove most of the MVP candidates from their teams and they are still a good team with the exception of Brad Davis.  Take Brad Davis from Houston and they would be right with New England and Vancouver.  That is why he is my MVP.)

Jason Davis: Brad Davis, and that’s not just a Davis solidarity thing.

Robert Jonas: As the best player on the team, and a premier player in MLS, Landon Donovan led his team to the 2011 Supporters Shield and the top spot in Group A of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Alexi Lalas:  Thierry Henry (NY). You can find my criteria here: http://bit.ly/r6e28Z

Zac Wassink: DwayneDe Rosario. Any questions about this after [the DC-PHI] game? (-ed note: yes.)
